About Us

Training is extremely important for performing any activity. Training also provides the means to accomplish changes and developments. This establishment has been founded with a view to provide training opportunity to personnel from different industries.

Our mission is to provide innovative and focussed training in the fields of quality management and measurement assurance system, at a reasonable cost, both open as well as in-house, such that the participants feel sufficiently educated at the end of each program in order to enhance their competency in the respective fields of activity.

Measurement

Almost all quality related decisions in a manufacturing scenario are based on data generated through measurement. Though the decision making involves use of different management techniques, the success of the decisions would depend largely on the quality and reliability of the data. In fact, decision based on unreliable data could be counter-productive. For the data or the output of the measurement to be reliable, the measurement process itself must be reliable.

In order to achieve this, it is necessary to understand the measurement process, its variables and how to control them so that the reliability of the measurement data can be quantified and assured for all specified measurements.

Experience	Has been involved with all facets of Product Quality and Quality Systems over the last 38 years in the field of engineering items. Was one of the founder members of Pilot Test House of the Govt. of India, Ministry of Commerce, a premier test and calibration centre of the country. He was trained in Laboratory Management in UK in 1988 under the Indo-EEC Co-operation and participated in the Workshop on “Standards in Trade” in 1995 in the NIST of the USA, as a member of the Indian delegation. He has carried out many audits of quality system, both on behalf of the NABL and other organizations. Has provided a number of consultancies on certification under ISO 9000 and laboratory accreditation as per ISO/IEC 17025.

Current Position	Took voluntary retirement from the position of the head of Pilot Test House in April 1997 and has since been conducting training programs and offering consultancy in field of measurement assurance, laboratory accreditation, quality system, metrology, calibration system & measurement uncertainty. So far has conducted more than 57 such programs. A partial list of organizations where in-house programs have been conducted, is annexed at "A" under Clients. Founded “*Systems & Training*” in 1999 which organizes training programs on a variety of topics related to quality systems management incl. laboratory accreditation and measurement assurance including measurement uncertainty, at a reasonable cost, both open as well as in-house. A partial list of organizations that have benefited from participation in such training programs is annexed at “B” under Clients. Provide consultation to medical laboratories for accreditation as per ISO 15189:2007, other test & calibration laboratories for accreditation under ISO/IEC 17025 standard and organizations for certification under ISO 9001:2000 quality systems standard. A list of laboratories and organizations who have availed of or are availing of consultation is annexed at "C" under Clients.
Other Activities	He is a Life Member of Consumer Guidance Society of India and was a member of its Testing Committee He is the founder Chairman of the Military Road Residents’ Welfare Association, Marol, Mumbai– an NGO representing more than 40 co-operative housing societies in Andheri (East). He is the founder Secretary of the Quality Forum, a registered voluntary organization devoted to the cause of quality in the country.
